I have had a passion for photography since I was young. My first experience in the darkroom solidified my love for the medium. I chose to go to art school at Virginia Commonwealth University and I have spent my time at VCU working with and listening to many different perspectives, and have thoroughly enjoyed my education in the fine arts. Most of my recent work has been abstractions, based on personal experience. I hope that some of the ambiguity allows for the viewer to bring their own experiences and thoughts into the work and discover something new in the visual representation of these feelings and experiences. I want my viewers to bring as much to the work as I do. My experiences are personal and belong to me but my feelings are universal.
